It’s My Favorite Time Of Year!
No, not because of the holidays, but because of this 12 Days of Christmas tradition I created a few years ago. Each day leading up to Christmas, I share a poem, story, or piece of writing that I started writing during the year.
The theme for this year’s 12 Days of Xmas is The Gift of Grief. This year there’s been lots of loss and processing tough feelings for me. My way of coping with this involves lots of writing. And through writing, I find the gifts and beauty in grief and the connections it opens us up to.
